Trend Shoes

Come in, take off your shoes, and clothes if you want.

Flower pots in my head..

It feels a bit odd writing here again, since I've been away from blog writing (well, not really proper writing, more like chatting) for about 3 months or so. If anyone's wondering about this absence, it's because I've been busy caught up with studying, travelling, etc etc etc. But don't you worry fellow bloggers, I still read your blogs!

Moving on.. I know I know floral prints and lace are "in" at the moment. However, I've always loved a well designed floral print, or items with handmade flowers stuck on (for a bit of a 3D effect). My partner in crime Fiona, however, loves it more. And I can't begin to describe the number of floral tea dresses she owns. Let alone the other tops, jumpsuits, etc etc.

It seems that the high street is now bombarded with floral prints. Everywhere I turn, I see stacks of ditsy floral print dresses, tops, tights, leggings, jeans! MY GOD!!! Seeing stacks of reproduced clothes usually puts me off, and makes me not want to buy anything from the shop. But for some reason my mind is niggling with the thought "florals....florals....florals.....".

I came across the new Primark (Penneys) S/S lookbook. And guess what? More lace and florals coming up! I have to say I do have a few items in mind that I'd like to purchase such as the floral shorts, the black lace shorts and the floral boyfriend jacket. I visited the shop yesterday and none of these items are out yet. Most will be out from Feb-March, and prices range from 1 pound - 25 pounds. The floral shorts are 4 pounds, which is just as much as buying a venti drink from Starbucks. Think of it that way.

I do wonder about the quality and material of the items. I also do wonder about whether or not I'll be "put off" when I see people fist fighting and throwing these items around in the shop when the items are out. Four pounds shorts however......I doubt I'll be put off.
