Sheer VS Leather

I've been pretty obsessed with anything and everything sheer for a pretty long time now. There is one sheer item missing from my wardrobe, and that is sheer pants. I've come across a few recently, such as the Sonia Rykiel from H&M chiffon pyjama pants, but those didn't fit me well. Then there were a pair or two on ASOS, but I repeat.. I'm on a money saving mission.

It came to no surprise that I went a bit ga-ga when I first came across Graeme Armour's work. Armour is a Central Saint Martin Graduate from Scotland, who trained with Alexander McQueen, and who was approached by Ungaro and Lagerfeld. Lucky him.

I fell in love with his S/S 10 collection, in which the designer collaborated with textile designer Johanna Basford, to create a collection filled with sheer, leather, foil metallics, and lots of ruffles.
I'm going to be greedy and say that I'd like to own his whole collection. It's 80's with a hint of Spanish flamenco. Genius.

These are my favorite pieces..

Somerset house adventure, new friends and foods you can not always trust..

News from my new London Life..
-I have been very busy. Hopefully all this busy-ness (as opposed to business) will be positive for me.
-I (finally) made it to SHOWStudio in Somerset house last week with my friend Kate. Personal favourites were the Hunting for Witches part, Gareth Pugh, the ID shoot going on with Nick Knight and drawing all over Naomi Campbell. Somerset house was also extremely festive with all the iceskating and fairy lights. Well worth a visit before SHOWStudio ends.

(There was a pane of glass between me and Giles Deacon. Kinda amazin'.)
-The lovely A&S from DiscoNapLondon invited me to their Blog's first birthday party. It was lovely, meeting new people, eating cakes (homemade, may I add), and general chitchat. I went along knowing noone with only an email invite and a rough idea where I was going. I was so glad to go though, as I made lovely new people.
Kathleen (who has recipes for vegan cupcakes), Satu from Disco Nap, yours truely, and Amna from Disco Nap
Kathleen, Neoma from TwentyTenEightyFour and I.
-You can trust some green food, like this lovely macaroon. But you cannot trust something called a "Green Bomb".However, you can always trust homemade cocktails (part mango, part vodka, part suga' syrup and party ice.. part party).
Who is for homemade cosmos?
Peace, fi xx

Wildfox Cool-ture

Everyone who reads Grazia/Look/Elle or any other glossy will have come across one of these pictures..

I tried find someone other than Audrina *coughsomeonebettercough* but she is wearing my favourite Wildfox Couture tee. I have been lusting after those tee's on ASOS (one of their main stockists) for months now! Anywho.
The lovely Carina from SelfServiceUK invited us SOS-er's to the Bloggers Wildfox Couture preview for S/S '10. I was the first of the bloggers and felt like the first kid at a birthday party, but this did not stop me from enjoying the clothes.
I loved the vintage look and feel of the materials used, it was all very indie-scenester. Which is very me. Photobucket

It reminded me so much of the trackie owned by Senior Topshop Buyer Rachel Proud.

Anyway, get thee online to their website (or Asos's Wildfox page.. or to Selfridges) before they all get sold out next year! * Apologies for sideways images, Photobucket dislikes me today*
